Easy Marble cake.....

This is a cake I used to make
 when my boys were little.
They loved the different colours in it
and it saves having
3 separate bowls for a proper
marble cake.

125g (1/2cup) butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 cup 100s and 1000s
2 cups SR flour

Cream the butter and sugar, beat in the eggs.
Add the flour and milk alternately.
Fold in the 100s and 1000s
Bake in a mod. oven for 3/4 hour.
Ice when cool.

So quick and easy, Enjoy!

I also made a loaf of bread and
the easy slice below.

The weather here has been windy but sunny.
With a top of only 15c(58f) and the wind chill is a lot cooler than that.
I think winter is finally here.

Hope you all have a nice day

P.S.  Here is a link to 100's and 1000's for those who don't know what they are
here

What a great idea for the marble cake. I've also never tried the proper one, because it just seems too messy!

It looks delicious, but I'm on a diet! And I just read a scripture on temptation so I will take a deep breath and resist the thought of making this! ;D

I have seen those pretty little colored thingies in cake - have no idea what they use, but they are colorful! The slice looks yummy too! You are a grand baker!...debbie

These both look delicious. I hope this doesn't sound too stupid, but what is 100s and 1000s?

That's a great idea for children's party cakes. It would look so cute in cup cakes too.
