Bargain Recipe Books...

These recipe books are on special
at Australia Post shops.

I have read a couple of them from the library and
they have good recipes in them.

I think normally they are about $15 each
you get the 4 for $14.99
I have been wanting the slow cooker one so
I sort of got the rest for free.

They would make a good Mothers Day present
if you like cooking and making
jams and preserves.

*********

The recipe I used for the Rosella Cordial
is from Down to Earth blog here

Have a great week

I had seen these books Debbie, but wasn't sure how good they would be, didn't have time to stop and look.

But I will make it my business next time I go in the Post Office though.

Debbie, I have three of these books -they are fabulous! I use the slow cooker one every third day, and her jams are great as they taste like fruit not sugar. I was in Big W today and I saw that she has brought out a cookbook about using leftovers or what's in the pantry, looks like a good one too. My PO had sold out of the packs as I went there to buy one for my SIL.

Thanks for this info Deb, I went and bought the set for myself for the kids to give me for Mothers Day...lol...and also bought a set for my Mum for Mothers day. Mum really loves hers, and I am trying to find the time to sit down and absorb them all myself. I wouldn't have know about them if you hadn't done a post on them.....
